Starter kit for the novice gardener
Seedr is a gift for the friend looking to start a new gardening hobby. Whether it’s a small herb garden in their backyard or a few indoor plants to spruce up their living room, the Seedr kit has everything you need for a budding collection of plants. It’s a kit to start yourself out right or to gift to a loved one.

I started off with a few concepts on the overall look and feel of the products. I started off wide and presented several different color, form, and function scenarios. This allowed for the brand manager to get their wheels turning to narrow down the story we wanted to tell and the type of user we would be targeting.
We saw an opportunity in the gifting space for new renters or homeowners with either small spaces for raised beds or getting into filling their space with indoor plants. The kit would have all the essentials for a novice to start their new hobby.
As we defined the user, the tool bag began to come together. A simple, crafted look to appeal to a younger audience but still be structural and functional for the gardening expert.
Along with the bag concepts, I designed the form of the handles as well as color, material, and finish.
Several iterations created to get the construction and dimensions correct.
